Kevin Seddiki

Kevin Seddiki started playing guitar when he was 8. He studied classical guitar at Clermont Ferrand, and then at Strasbourg's Conservatory with Argentinean master Pablo Marquez. When he moved to Strasbourg, he went on to study classical and contemporary music, but also entered the Jazz Department. Kevin studied and played with bandoneon master and composer Dino Saluzzi, zarb master Bijan Chemirani (which caused his own wish to learn to play the zarb), and many other people from very different "music styles" and cultures (Argentina, India, Mongolia, Eritrea, Armenia, Iran, Greece, Madagascar, Turkey…), most of whom are references and all excellent musicians. He teaches master classes regularly and composes for guitar, solo or other. In April 2009, he won (Ex-Aequo) the prestigious European Guitar Award.
